Here’s the cover of bestselling author, screenwriter, and journalist Amy Chozick‘s debut novel, With Friends Like You. This novel is inspired in part by Chozick’s infamous Vogue profile on Stormy Daniels. In addition to her profile on Daniels, Chozick told Hollywood Reporter, “my journalism career was very much about covering controversial women who were swept up in the public eye…So this is sort of my sweet spot, and I’m always drawing on different characters and pathologies to put into my characters.” With Friends Like You hits shelves on July 21, 2026.
Netflix has acquired the rights to Emily Giffin’s All We Ever Wanted for an upcoming series adaptation. Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben, who co-wrote Gone Before Goodbye, will executive produce alongside Nicola Shindler. Jessica Goldberg (Away, The Path, Parenthood) will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer. The logline describes All We Ever Wanted as, “A soapy and scandalous drama that uncovers the secrets and class struggles of a wealthy suburb; where a torrid love affair between a ‘have’ Mom and ‘have-not’ single Dad threatens to expose the sins and lies of all of those around them.”
Ahead of Emerald Fennell’s new Wuthering Heights film adaptation, here’s a look at the new edition of Emily Brontë’s classic novel. This new version of Wuthering Heights will be the inaugural title in Simon & Schuster’s new Female Filmmakers Collection. It includes a new cover design and a foreword by Fennell. You can preorder the book now, and the book will be out on February 3.
