Compiling the Lists of the Upcoming Queer Books of 2026
⚓ Books 📅 2026-01-13 👤 surdeus 👁️ 1For the past few months, I’ve been diligently researching the most anticipated queer books out in 2026, adding to my ever-growing spreadsheet. (All Access members, you’ll be getting a sneak peek of that soon.) These lists can be found on Goodreads, old-school book blogs, Instagram posts, and even the parts of the internet I don’t dare to tread, like TikTok and X. You’re on your own there.
None of these—not even my spreadsheet—is complete. There are simply too many queer books coming out to list them all, especially when it comes to self-published books. (Trying to sift through those has really demonstrated how much AI has flooded the space.)
So, I thought I’d share some of these lists with you! I also have some lists wrapping up the best queer books of 2025.
