It’s been a long year, and it’s only February. One thing giving me hope right now is the results of the Publishing for Minnesota auction, which raised more than $200,000 for organizations helping those most affected by ICE raids in Minnesota. The auction is over, but my colleague Kelly Jensen has gathered links to many different ways you can support Minneapolis through literary activism, including donating to book drives for the kids staying home and supporting local bookstores.

How has your reading year started? I didn’t think I had read that much until I started adding it up for this update and surprised myself. January really has been 100 days long. But I want to hear from you: what did you read in January, and what’s on your TBR for February?
