The new additions this week’s roundup are all authors who are well acquainted with the bestseller lists. B.K. Borison, author of the popular First-Time Caller romance, has just released the second book in the Heartstrings series: And Now, Back to You. C.J. Box also has a sequel on this list: The Crossroads, the 26th(!) book in the Joe Pickett series. Finally, Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma, turns his attention to the question of consciousness with his newest book, A World Appears.
This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are Kin by Tayari Jones, The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai, and One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad.
