Women rule Amazon’s list of the bestselling books of all time (where “all time” = since 1995), claiming nine of the top 10 spots and 27 of the top 50.

The #1 spot belongs to The Hunger Games, and indeed, Suzanne Collins’s dystopian YA series dominates the top 10.

• Catching Fire and Mockingjay hold slots 5 and 4, respectively.

E.L. James ties with Suzanne Collins, as all three Fifty Shades books appear in the top 10.

• Fifty Shades of Grey sits at #3; Fifty Shades Darker at #7; and Fifty Shades Freed at #10.

Harry Potter makes his first appearance at #2.

• Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the boy wizard’s only appearance in the top 10, though all seven books in the series make the list.

The only nonfiction book in the top 10 is Tom Rath’s StrengthsFinder 2.0, a perennial favorite of corporate coaches.

Dark and twisty women round out the top 10, with The Handmaid’s Tale at #8 and Gone Girl at #9.

Other notables:

• The Girl on the Train and Where the Crawdads Sing ride Gone Girl‘s coattails to #13 and #14.
• George R.R. Martin only makes one appearance, with A Game of Thrones showing up at #45.
• Syllabi all-stars: 1984 (#16), To Kill a Mockingbird (#24), and The Great Gatsby (#34)
• Leadership/self-help staples:The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (#17), The 5 Love Languages (#19), How to Win Friends and Influence People (#25), Who Moved My Cheese? (#32), and Good to Great (#36).
