2025 has been a pretty prolific reading year for me, but August was the exception. While I talked to you about ten queer books I read in July, this time I only have four for you… and one of them I’m technically still reading.

That’s okay, though, because I spent most of that time slowly reading a book I was really enjoying. And I have big reading plans in the fall, especially October. It’s time for cozy fantasy, gothics, and horror novels! Plus, there are some big releases out soon that I can’t wait to get my hands on.

Here are the queer books I read in August and the ones at the top of my TBR for September.
