The Bestselling Books of the Week, According to All the Lists
⚓ Books 📅 2025-11-06 👤 surdeus 👁️ 102The first bestseller round up of November has hit the ground running: there are so many books appearing on these lists for the first time! The biggest title, and the one on every bestseller list, is Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, a memoir by the late Virginia Roberts Giuffre about her experience speaking up as a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Another big bestseller of the moment in a completely different genre is the 20th volume of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Children’s books are usually on their own lists, which is why they rarely appear here, but they often outperform adult bestsellers by an order of magnitude, and the Wimpy Kid books are a great example of that.
This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are The Best American Short Stories 2025 edited by Celeste Ng, Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, and Finding My Way: A Memoir by Malala Yousafzai.
To get these numbers, we look at the New York Times, both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts, both Fiction and Nonfiction; Publishers Weekly; USA Today; and Indie Bestsellers, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover.
