I also want to point out one of the new releases this week that deserves your attention: Black-Owned: The Revolutionary Life of the Black Bookstore by Char Adams is a fascinating history of Black-owned bookstores and what part they played in Black social and political movements over the decades. If you’re reading this, you’re a book nerd (sorry to break it to you), so this should definitely be on your TBR. I’m reading it right now and really enjoying it.
