Giving back to the community is something I've always been passionate about, so I finally put that into action.
I've been learning Rust and decided the best way to do that is to build something real — so I built Harbr: a native Podman desktop app for developers. No Electron, no forced sign-ins, no bloat. Just a fast, native desktop experience built with Tauri and Rust.
It's early days — v0.1, rough edges and all — but the core is there: container management, live logs, Compose support, cross-container log search, and a built-in terminal. All without Docker Desktop's baggage.
