I've been a fan of the Rust programming language for a long time. When I started with Rust several years ago, I discovered the website this-week-in-rust, and it became the most important source of information for everything related to Rust for me. My bookmark list kept getting longer and longer. Still, there came a point where I remembered having read something, but at the time hadn't considered the link important enough for my bookmark list.

That's how the idea for a search page for this-week-in-rust news came about. It would still take a long time before I found the time to actually implement it. New technologies emerged (AI) and now support me in the implementation. What started as a small hobby project quickly grew bigger and bigger. I thought to myself, maybe others feel the same way. And so the site https://this-week-in-rust-search.org was born. I hope the site will help you just as much as it has helped me, and the maintainers of this-week-in-rust are fine with the issues being searchable.
