I need to raise a team. I have built everything so far, but I desperately need to start onboarding more people so we can parallelize on different areas to make good. I'm out in Busan but plan to return to Seoul, where we can recruit faster. Locals are interested but waiting for more obvious signal. We need people who don't wait.
This is full stack Rust, using Leptos, Axum, Sqlx, on Postgres and NATS. The work is going to be very similar to e-commerce + SNS. Lots of cascading and continuous materialization.
The role of the MVP is to self-raise funds to accelerate our own development. I'd like to just stay lean and bootstrap our way into becoming a better kickstarter for various consumer open source Linux Desktop software. With all the rapidly approaching demand for Linux gaming and for small, local, open source AI, we will be up to our eyeballs in work. Most users don't have time to wait for volunteers to build what they desperately need and they don't have the time or specialization to build it themselves.
The general concept, Production Finance, is an advanced take on social finance, much more evolved than what Kickstarter did. The Delegate Social system that will be incrementally developed and put in control of funding disbursement is an evolution on top of SNS and social decision systems.
I'm going to hit the atmosphere at 130,000mph if necessary, but it's time for me to begin getting some equity into people's hands!!! I will take on juniors who are determined to focus on something or seniors who can quickly spot approaching debt, but the one rule is that you must go fast and you must go now. When I wake up, if I see bad code, I fix it. If something is missing, I build it. I expect to receive the same attitude and effort that I give, and all of us will be equitably compensated while building extremely important things.
True startups play the critical role of creating opportunities that the job marketplace won't give for people who want to do things that industry is too distracted and risk-averse to go after. If you want equity, career advancement, full stack Rust, and working in extremely important new models for social finance & social decision making, this is the place.
