I (21M) have been a casual brony since I was a kid. Didn't see much of the show itself, but researched the lore and the characters and fell in love.

But I'm so indecisive when it comes to character creation. What color pallets do I choose? What species of pony do I choose (there's so many; earthpony, pegasus, unicorn, batpony, changeling, kirin, etc), what cutiemark do I give it, what name do I give it, etc. I've been experimenting on Pony Town with some character designs. I'd just like some input and advice.
