I've started playing the game recently, and I've often found it quite hard to make conversation in game.

Even though I am pretty shy irl, I'm usually not that bad at talking in social apps or games. But, in Pony Town specifically, I struggle to make friends.

Everytime I spawn in, I always see a bunch of little groups of ponies sitting around, and it looks like everybody is in little friend groups, and I can't bring myself to join in already established groups. There's just so many people everywhere, and the map is so big, it's so overwhelming, and I have no idea where to go.

Here's how it will usually go: I spawn in, walk around for a while to find someone who seems approachable. Usually just stand around spawn awkwardly for 5 minutes without talking trying to find people to talk to. Then, proceeding to fail at that and log off.

Is this an issue other people are having? Is there something I can do to make it feel less awkward? I really am interested in this game, and I'm really into mlp, and I want to talk with other people whom I share that interest with. Does anyone have any advice for me?
