I know it’s been a thing since the beginning of ponytown, but I always seem to clock when a certain type of shading style becomes popular through the pt community. Now I think a style I see that’s been getting traction is those low saturated ones where the shading looks blended in all together which makes the pony look rather smooth and flat(?)-like and I can see why thats a popular one to make ponies with because its so pleasing to look at lol. Or when they stick to one colour palette/hue and articulate it with the character’s colours. it’s so nice to ponywatch and look at how everyone shades ( ´∀｀)
