It's sad that this kind of discussion has to be talked about because some of you do not understand the problem with this. People should be worried about a situation that is similar to that of pretty much Identity and art theft. That's not just someone's Character, that's a recognizable unique oc for people to remember if something were to happen. Would you not be upset if someone stole your identity and used it for whatever they wanted? Knowing they'll get away with whatever they're doing because the online populace will be looking for YOU? Then it wouldn't be a "non-issue". What if someone stole something you spent countless hours on to perfect and claim all of the credit that you deserve for it? Then it wouldn't be a "Non-issue"

Also, to the ones saying they're "Pre-made assets" and "it was never yours to begin with" does a sculptor have to create the stone to claim the statue as their own? Does a painter have to weave the canvas together to claim the painting as his work? Name me one digital artist who has made their own computer, computer program, and art program from scratch, since every single thing needed would have been owned by someone. Do you see how stupid that argument is? How dumb you sound saying that us putting together these "Pre-made assets" to create unique characters that we spent effort into making and have as our online identity being stolen isn't a big issue? If you truly do not see the point of this after this post then I'm just going to write you off as a rage baiter at this point because you're simply living life as a joke
