Why do some Ponytown players act like they own areas of the map?

I’ve had multiple weird and hostile encounters on Ponytown lately, and I’m honestly confused how people can act this entitled over pixels.

One day I was sitting at a table with a bunch of empty seats. A dog pony spawned right next to me, looked angry, and told me: “Get out, you’re not welcome here.”
I wasn’t talking, interacting, or bothering anyone — just sitting.

Later, a girl who has a habit of spreading lies about me sent her friend to accuse me of “harassing people,” even though I literally never chat, whisper, or interact with anyone in this game. I just walk around quietly.

That friend then started insulting me, calling my pony skins ugly and saying I “don’t have friends.” All because I existed in the same area and walked past from far away.

The funniest part? That same girl crowned my ponies twice in the past — once she even fangirled over the character. So the sudden hostility feels completely random and unnecessary.

I don’t understand why some players act like they own parts of the map or get triggered just because someone is nearby. It feels like there’s zero empathy sometimes.

Has anyone else dealt with this kind of behavior?
