Hi! This is my first time playing ponytown and I'm looking for ways to make my pony more aesthetically pleasing

I tried fade effects for the legs and hair, but it just ended up looking sloppy. Hopefully I wouldn't have to change the hair and skin because he's meant to be a grey and black pony, but I'm open to suggestions!
